ESHA GUPTA IN MANISH MALHOTRA ON BAZAAR BRIDE COVER
What is the essence of an Indian bride? If you ask any layman, they would say that the core of an Indian bridal ensemble is its colours. Bridal wear is not always about the form but also about the elements that go into making it a whole. On the cover of Bazaar Bride, Jacqueline Fernandez is not wearing a saree or a lehenga choli that is typically worn by Indian brides.

In fact, Jacqueline appears on the cover in a stunning anarkali gown. However, she looks every inch bridal due to the exuberant mélange of colours in this outfit. Jacqueline Fernandez is in a Manish Arora creation for the cover. The full-sleeved silhouette has a combination of several warm colours and also boasts of a checquered pattern. She is wearing a heavy princess necklace over the Indian silhouette but keeps the look contemporary with pair of patent black high heel pumps.
Manish Arora, as you know, is the creator of the brand Indian. This piece that Jacqueline Fernandez is wearing on the cover of Bazaar Bride is not from Manish Arora's last collection. It could just be an early peak-a-boo into his next collection. By the way, we have also seen Alia Bhatt in Manish Arora for the second edition of Harper's Bazaar Bride magazine.
