Esha Gupta: Bazaar Bride For June 2014
The Harper's Bazaar Bride's magazine made a debut in Indian just 4 months back and it is already a sensation. Every month, we wait eagerly wait to see who has become the Bazaar Bride for the month. Last month it was Shruti Hasaan who was styled and dressed by Rahul Mishra in his traditional silken weaves. This month, Esha Gupta is the Harper's Bazaar Bride. Esha Gupta is in a Manish Malhotra creation for the cover of Harper's Bazaar Bride June 2014.
Esha Gupta is dressed as a summer bride for the cover image. In fact, the entire issue of the magazine talks about exotic summer weddings. We like her traditional outfit as well as the casually contemporary pose she has struck up for the Bazaar cover. Esha Gupta was in a Manish Malhotra anarkali that is golden and sequined. She is also wearing a Suhani Pittie maang tikka with the golden anarkali silhouette.
Esha Gupta was sans any jewellery for her 'bridal' cover look. But she had a string of 'gajra' or white flowers wrapped around her wrist. It emphasised the fact that she was carrying a bridal look. A summer wedding must be fragrant like the flowers. We like the styling, the minimal jewellery and the whole concept all together. Flowers have been used throughout the photo spread as accessories.
Check our Esha Gupta on the Harper's Bazaar Bride cover and also see some of the photospread on the inside pages.

The Cover
Esha Gupta is in a Manish Malhotra anakali that is golden in colour. Her hair is totally wind swept and she looks like the perfect summer bride sweeping across a river.

Red Lehenga
In the photospread, we saw Esha Gupta in a traditional coral red lehenga. The lehenga is more or less plain but the drape over Esha Gupta's head has a heavy golden embroidery.

Nature's Bride
Through out the photospread, we see Esha Gupta wearing almost no jewellery. Esha Gupta was clicked among the green leaves in a brick red choli and sequined gold lehenga without a dupatta or any jewellery.

The Bubbly Yellow
Another shot of Esha Gupta shows her in a spirited yellow lehenga choli. The sequined embroidery in this lehenga is just breathtakingly beautiful.

Floral Shades
The bridal colours pink and violet were used very well in the photospread. Esha Gupta wore a sleeveless pink anarkali silhouette. And in another picture, she was wearing a baby violet full-sleeved choli and lehenga. The summer bride's hair was dressed with orchids in this photo which happens to be our favourite in this photoshoot.

The Bride Before
On last month's cover of Harper's Bazaar Bride, we saw Shruti Haasan play the traditional bride with a rockstar attitude and some gorgeous silk weaves from Rahul Mishra to dress her.
