ICW 2014: Malaika Arora & Nimrat Kaur As Showstoppers

On day 2 of India Couture Week (ICW) 2014, Rina Dhaka showcased some of her collections on two showstoppers, Malaika Arora Khan and Nimrat Kaur. The two Bollywood beauties mesmerised the audience with their amazing looks and perfect figures.

At the ICW 2014 on day 2, Rina Dhaka's models who carried her outfits were brightly coloured. Each of her creations has some unique taste to it, which is why it was interesting. Mother, actress and model Malaika Arora Khan wore a chiffon and tulle saree which was out of this world. The look of Malaika Arora's saree was very off beat. Layered with silver patterned leaves and satin in between, her saree was the talk of the town on day 2.

WHO STOLE THE SHOW ON DAY 2 AT ICW 2014

The other showstopper who walked for Rina Dhaka was actress, Nimrat Kaur. The reason behind Nimrat Kaur's presence as a showstopper for ICW 2014 is only because she embodies a modern women who has got talent and acquired craft.

1st Showstopper: Malaika

She posed for the cameras like there was no tomorrow. Wearing one of the designers best creation at ICW 2014, Malaika grew a lot of excitement at the show.

Malaika's Accessories

It was her green necklace by SRM jewellers that added oomph to Malaika's showstopper look. Made entirely out of green pearls and a brooch at the neck, this green necklace brought out a whole new style. Her earrings too matched with the diamond studded brooch.

Her Flawless Back

The dori of her necklace was quite interesting. Even at the back of her choli the green emerald stone was hung delicately, adding more beauty to her flawless toned back.

Her Striking Poses

Being the showstopper for Rina Dhaka, Malaika Arora Khan truly put on a performance. The styles she posed in to accentuate her snake patterned saree was remarkable.

The Hairstyle

If you are wondering whether she stole the show, she surely did. Each time she posed for the camera, she looked unique and sexy.

The Choli

Although her saree had a lot of silver work on it in patterns of leaves, her choli was not left undone. The Rina Dhaka creation she wore to the ICW 2014 was embellished with sequins right through!

Showstopper 2 - Nimrat Kaur

Definition of elegance and grace, she posed for the shutterbugs with just a smile. The red hot lehenga and the similar design of Malaika's choli looked different on her. We also loved the way she wrapped up her look with red rubies and pearls for the showstopper position at ICW 2014 for Rina Dhaka.

In Total Awe

Since Malaika Arora Khan stole all the limelight from Nimrat Kaur, the latter decided to take it on a higher pedestal at ICW 2014 while posing with Rina Dhaka's models who were wearing her designs.

Standing To Please

Models who walked the ramp for Rina Dhaka at the ICW 2014 for her collection were seen wearing a very verbose iconography of the gota work of Rajasthan. The Gota Patti she brought out was placed against tinsel sheers and lace.
