Wills India Fashion Week 2013: Day 1

The Wills India Fashion Week 2013 or WIFW for short has kicked off in style. The WIFW is one of the most eagerly awaited fashion event every year. We all knew that famous fashion greats are scheduled to grace the Wills India Fashion Week 2013 just like every other year. The excitement in the fashion fraternity was understandably at its peak.

The first day of Wills India Fashion Week 2013 had quite a few interesting names. First of all, we have to talk about Masaba Gupta's collection for Satya Paul. Masaba Gupta has breathed new life into Satya Paul designs. The high end fashion label presented a collection solely created by young designer Masaba Gupta on the first day of Wills India Fashion Week 2013. Earlier this week, Sonam Kapoor was seen is a Satya Paul saree designed by Masaba Gupta at an event. There is perky youthfulness about Masaba's work and that has captured everyone's imagination.

Another notable designer Surily Goel presented her designs at the Wills India Fashion Week 2013. It was a welcome change to see Preity Zinta as the showstopper for Surily Goel. Designer duo Pankaj and Nidhi did not have any celebrity showstopper like Preity Zinta but they had awesome designs. The theme of their collection for Wills India Fashion Week 2013 is musical instruments. The detailing in the clothes is mindbogglingly as they give the mirage of different musical instruments.
