IBFW 2013: Suneet Varma's Bridal Collection

Fashion designer Suneet Varma showcased his bridal collection at the ongoing India Bridal Fashion Week 2013. The Day 5 of the ongoing Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2013 was again a visual treat for the inspiring brides. The excitement for the Suneet Varma Couture Show 2013 at the ongoing India Bridal Fashion Week in Delhi was too high, and the designer managed to bring forward some unique designs on the ramp.

The collection is inspired by Ancient Rome, handmade lace with gentle drapes, and it of course included Suneet Varma's handmade accessories- dangling earrings, headdress, rings and golden bracelet. The ramp was set in the Roman style and was named City of Pompeii.

The contemporary bridal designs ranged from lehengas, sarees, suits and gowns. Different types of drapes were also seen on the Day 5 of IBFW 2013 ramp. Suneet Varma presented some awesome accessories on the ramp. The bridal collection of Suneet Varma was truly incredible. From red lehengas to blue and black drape gowns, the modern bride can try any of the outfits for her big day! Even different types of colours were seen from Suneet Varma's collection at IBFW 2013. Black, blue, golden, red, creamy white etc colours where seen on the ramp. Graphic prints in velvet, heavily embellished golden and other coloured drapes were also presented by Suneet Varma at Day 5 of IBFW 2013.

Suneet Varma not only presented traditional bridal lehengas and suits, but also came froward to showcase some modern gowns (both short and long). Deep plunging necklines, sheer leggings and corset blouses were seen in Suneet Varma's bridal collection at IBFW 2013. The hot and gorgeous Chitrangada Singh was the showstopper for Suneet Varma at IBFW 2013.

Printed Golden Drapes

We saw a lot of printed drapes in velvet and other fabric from the bridal collection of Suneet Varma.

Blue Velvet Saree

This printed blue saree has intricate golden work on the borders. The backless blouse has a golden snake accessory attached to it. Reminds of Sharon Stone who wore a similar snake accessory with a white Roberto Cavalli gown recently.

Black and Golden Print

Plain black material has been heavily printed with golden work.

Cotton Silk Gowns

Even cotton silk was used by Suneet Varma at India Bridal Fashion Week 2013. The bodice of the gown has been heavily embroidered with golden work.

Swaroski Crystals On Blue

Swaroski crystals were used to embellish few bridal outfits. Corset like blouse was widely seen on the ramp.

Frill Anarkali Gown

Anarkali floor length white gown with frills on the bottom looked stylish. Plunging neckline looks fashionable!

Beige Saree

Sheer sarees with colourful stone work in purple, blue and orange were also used by Suneet Varma at the Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week, 2013.

Red Frills

Anarkali gowns with lots of frills was worn by Miss Universe Canada Sahar Biniaz. The golden embellishment on the bodice gave an ethnic touch to the anarkali gown.

Golden Accessories

Suneet Varma himself designed these golden accessories for the bridal collection. Arm bands, finger rings, headdress and earrings were gracefully adorned by models.

Saffron Saree

The plain saffron coloured traditional saree has been fashionable teamed up with a deep cut full sleeve blouse. Golden work has made the saree look all the more appealing!

Flowing Gowns

Flowing gowns in purple, brick red, cobalt blue and black were also seen on the ramp at Day 5 of IBFW 2013.

Floor Sweeping Gown

This nude coloured floor sweeping gown has a mini skirt underneath. The gown has been wrapped like a cape. The bodice of this modern bridal outfit has golden lace work. Even the transparent legging has golden work on the ankle.
