Meet Milan: Shakira's Baby Boy!

Shakira, the sensational Columbian singer has givenus a good news recently. The Hips Don't Lie singer has delivered a baby boy. Shakira is dating beau Gerald Pique, a Spanish footballer.

The 36-year-year old singer is dating 10 years younger, Gerald and the couple has proudly announced the birth of a baby boy.

Shakira tweeted on Twitter saying, "Meet our baby boy Milan," and also included the link to the digital charity baby shower of UNICEF. The Shakira recently did a photoshoot showing off her baby bump for a social cause. The singer and her beau Gerald, have stood up with UNICEF to collect money for the underprivileged children. In the photoshoot for UNICEF, Shakira showed off her baby bump in nude coloured lingerie and was accompanied by her beau, Gerald. Shakira is the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador since 2003. The tweeted picture shows FC Barcelana and new father, Gerald giving a soft kiss to the newborn baby boy. The couple has named their first child, Milan Piqué Mebarak. Milan means dear, loving and gracious in Slavic; in Ancient Roman, eager and laborious; and in Sanskrit, unification.

The doctors confirmed that the couple's first child weighed approximately 6lbs and 6 ounces. They also said that both mother and child are in excellent health. Milan was born on January 22nd at 9:36pm, in Barcelona, Spain.

New mom, Shakira is going to appear in public soon. She will team up with singer Usher and join, "The Voice" as a coach this spring. We all are eagerly waiting to see Shakira, as the Hips Don't Lie sensation again.
