The 23-year-old US native, Megan Young who entered the Miss World contest, has been crowned with the pageant. Yes you read it right. Megan Young is the Miss World of 2013. Megan Young, the 23-year-old girl entered the reputable beauty pageant as Miss Philippines.

Miss World is a beauty pageant that has been put up annually since last 63 years. The Miss World 2013 was conducted recently on the Indonesian island of Bali and Megan Young was crowned with the title. Megan Young is actually born in America - Alexandria in Virginia to be precise, where she lived till the age of 10. After that, Megan was settled in Philippines.

Megan Young who has been recently crowned Miss World 2013 has come as TV hosts in shows and was also seen in Filipino television shows.

Megan Young left behind contestants from 127 countries to be crowned as Miss World of 2013. Megan was the winner of Miss World 2013, Miss France Marine Lorphelin was in the second place, and Miss Ghana Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter was the 3rd Miss World of 2013. It was memorable for Miss Ghana as as well as Carranzar who made into the Top 5 of Miss World pageant and eventually grabbing the 3rd position.

Megan Young looked beautiful when she was crowned Miss World of 2013. Megan wore a peach coloured sequinned gown that had a frilly bottom. The bodice of the Megan's peach coloured gown had silver sequinned work on it. The bottom was frilly and hem like which flaunted her figure like a mermaid.

Megan Young kept her look simple and looked elegant with just diamond earrings. We are very happy to see Miss Philippines being crowned Miss World of 2013. She is definitely gorgeous and talented.
