Designers from India included Shraddha Vora, an upcoming designer who has bagged many awards for her designs that can be best described as "fusion fashion".
Shougér Merchant Doshi's ‘Zanaãya Couture's designs are "trenditional", a chic and trendy way of draping Indian outfits while keeping traditional elements alive.
C Singh is all about contemporary Indian fashion in a melange of colours and fabrics for those who prefer the Indian style of dressing but crave individuality and uniqueness in their outfits. Bhavik Dattani's collection is named "Espelho" and is one of the most reputed and exclusive leading bag brand today.

Indian designers such as C Singh and Shraddha Vora who also exhibited last year were of the opinion that the international exposure at the fair provides an excellent learning curve to understand the buyers sourcing requirements. She said , " The exposure to the latest trends in the fashion industry gives one a clear picture as to the way forward for us. This is one exhibition that I would definitely exhibit on a regular basis and would also recommend it to my colleagues."
First time participants, designers Shouger Merchant and Bhavik Dattani were clear in their views that World Boutique had helped them immensely in their understanding of international trends while providing the best platform to interact at the global level.
