IBFW 2013: Shantanu and Nikhil's Bridal Collection
The Day 4 of India Bridal Fashion Week (IBFW) 2013 was glitzy as Shantanu and Nikhil showcased their 'To Die' collection for the Fall Winter 2013. The designer duo who presented their contemporary couture lines for the modern Indian bride at the IBFW 2013 made heads turn with the lovely outfits they showcased.
Designers, Shantanu and Nikhil showcased their bridal collection keeping the modern trends in mind which is best suited for the Indian brides. At the IBFW 2013, there were a lot of sheer gowns to high low hem blouse lehengas too. On the whole their bridal collection was just about awesome! However, the bridal collection by the duo designers Shantanu and Nikhil was very similar to the 'To Die For' collection which was showcased at IBFW 2013 in Delhi.
This bridal collection was largely focused on the soft and beautiful bride who always embraces everything feminine and dotes on chic and contemporary fashion. In these designs, we saw a lot of golden work from Shantanu and Nikhil at IBFW 2013 ramp.
The bridal collection which had a wide range of gold, models were wrapped in heavy outfits that had gold leaves and zari work on them. Check out the Fall Winter collection of Shantanu and Nikhil from IBFW 2013 ramp, Mumbai.
Showstopper
Designers Shantanu and Nikhil had one of the best showstoppers to walk the ramp for their collection. Sania Mirza, who looked lovely, bright and beautiful walked the ramp in style.
Gold N Cream
Golden and cream were the two basic colours which was used for this lovely couture. The bodice of the dress was decked with gold work which matched the borders perfectly.
Golden Bodice
The golden bodice of the dress was completely speculator. The dress had three layers of white lace, white sheer and white net. Around the waist of the dress, a satin like golden cloth wrapped the models hips in style.
White Kurta
Handsome and stylish was the first two words which can be described for this look. The white pyjama and jodhpuris went well with this manly look.
The Colour Of Coffee
Out of the collections which were showcased by Shantanu and Nikhil at the IBFW 2013, this rich coffee bridal wear was the best. The colour combination of mustard and coffee looked extravagant.
Bronze Kurta
The white lace kurta was teamed up with this beautiful bronze waistcoat which looked just about perfect on the ramp at the IBFW 2013 by designers Shantanu and Nikhil.
Duo Combo
Mustard and purple were the two bright colours that were used on this bridal collections by Shantanu and Nikhil. The high neck salwar and the frills at the bottom was fantastic.
Pastel Gold
Here again, dark brown and gold colours were used to complete the perfect look of this strapless dress. What was unique about this dress is the borders as it had beautiful antique designs which was appealing.
Colourful
The contemporary colourful kurta was out-of-the-box. It was futuristic and very unique sense of style.
Chocolate Gold
This is one of the best gowns which was seen on the ramp at the IBFW 2013. The beautiful dark chocolate gown was embellished with a golden bodice and golden borders.
Glittering Beauty
Dark brown and gold seems to be one of the best combinations that were seen on the ramp at the IBFW 2013 in Mumbai. The beautiful frills on the dress with the golden thick border made the outfit look more than stunning.
Cleopatra
Stunning and red hot in this bridal collection, the model resembled every bit of the Egyptian beauty Cleopatra. The red and black combination was worth the look along with the golden net head gear.
In Black
The bold colour black, seems to be the perfect choice for a groom to wear. This bridal collection of Shantanu and Nikhil at IBFW 2013 were amazing. The full black kurta with the golden buttons were eye catchy.
Red Queen
There was nothing great about this red salwar which was showcased at the IBFW 2013 in Mumbai. The red lace salwar looked simple and golden clutch was the only thing which seemed to have given the attire a 'look'.
