Nidhi Munim's Swimwear Kickstarts IRFW
India Resort Fashion Show is one of the biggest and popular fashion festivals. Commonly known as IRFW, India Resort Fashion Show is Asia's largest fashion festival.
IRFW 2012 started with the debutante designer Nidhi Munim's swimwear collection. Young and dynamic designer Nidhi Munim spells luxury and comfort together in her swimwear and bright and floral kaftans. Debuting at IRFW 2012, Nidhi, the founding partner and designer of K Design Studio, painted woman's body like a canvas with her classic and glamorous resort wear collection 'Bay Dreams' at IRFW 2012.
The IRFW started off with Nidhi Munim's cheerful collection. Nidhi showcased her resort wear Bay Dreams with the '90s song Hot! Hot! Hot! Models strutted out in tiny swimsuits and floral kaftans.
Inspired by the shades of happy women, Nidhi showcased an exclusive line that included an array of swimwear and cover-ups. The models adorned flashy solids to classic ikkat prints and delicate patterns. Nidhi Munim infused vibrant shades like flashy neons with white in the colour palette and parallel beautiful ikkat prints in neon yellow at the ramp of IRFW. The combination of one-shoulder to thin-strapped halter necks, prominent hemlines of the maxi-dresses, and low plunging necklines of the jumpers completed the easy going, stylish independent look.
This attractive amalgamation of resort wear was adorned by models elegantly and were seen giggling. Achala Sachdev had created a resort (beach) ambiance, apt to the collection and theme.
The audience was thrilled and enjoyed viewing the swimwear by this young and vibrant designer. Lets take a look at what the sexy models wore on the ramp.
