Uma Thurman Sues HandMade Film Company

The American stunning actress Uma Thurman has now got back her role in the planned movie adaptation of the childrens' classic 'Eloise In Paris" after she had settled a lawsuit with the producers over the stalled shoot. The bosses of the HandMade Films had signed Thurman in the year 2008 to star as the nanny in the movie version of the 1950's book , which was about a young girl who goes away to Paris for the Fashion Week.

The actress hired a lawyer Bert Fields in January , 2010 to sue the company for an amount of 6.4 million pounds. She had claimed that the shooting had yet to begin on the picture and she had missed out other work during that period.

At present both the sides have reached a settlement and the film is back on. The 40 year old actress thus states that, “ I am delighted to begin a fresh relationship with HandMade Films and look forward to helping to bring Eloise to the big screen."
