With the help of the campaign, PETA activists want to urge people to stop eating fish mainly for two reasons. One, it is a threat to human health and two, they want people to adopt an animal friendly policy.
The cruelty to animal aspect is also of major concern. The way fish are killed is very barbarous. India is the world's third largest producer of fish.
