Skinbook: Nudist Social Networking Site!

Karl Maddocks decided to come up with a way out of these tiresome procedures. He simply created a website, two years ago, Skinbook that has to its credit the world's largest nudist social network.
No doubt that there are about thousands of members with features and functions like that of Facebook, as the name goes Skinbook, one finds the members naked.
However of the flocking applicants, only a very few gain entry.
The site sprang to life after Maddocks and some classmates from Manchester Metropolitan University, took off on a holiday to try out their nudism venture in Wales.
Skinbook has attracted those who are curious about going naked in public in nudist clubs, without having to comply with numerous irksome procedures.
There are rules though. Skinbook rejects blank profiles and does does not admit sexual chatter.
The site is now to hold its first conference in Brighton during Summer which will expose the members to its leaders to discuss on its future development.
Quite obviously, the site is more popular among younger people, with more females and couples.
“You"ve got to be there for the right reasons," The Times quoted Maddocks as saying.
“With the nature of the site, we"ve got to do our best to protect people"s privacy," he added.
“There"s a lot of people on there who are not necessarily into [nudism]," said Maddocks.
“There"s quite a lot of women who have body issues, and though they are not into the lifestyle, they are curious to relieve themselves of the paranoia and feeling bad about themselves."
“It"s a counter-culture thing," he says. “It"s to get away from the idea that you"re ugly unless you"ve had plastic surgery. It"s about not caring if you"re size 14 or size 8, or if you"re packing five inches or ten inches. Life"s too short."
