Lindsay Lohan tried leaving her rehab facility for a night out at the movies but things didn't work as planned.

According to sources, Lindsay Lohan was spotted at the Century Rancho Mirage movie theater, just three miles away from the Betty Ford Center. According to the theater employee, Lindsay Lohan was trying to see a movie, but as she kept getting noticed by others, she decided to leave.

Sources who reported Lindsay Lohan's night out said, that she visited a Borders bookstore near the theater and picked few magazines and than left for rehab center.

Former teen idol Lindsay Lohan's movie career has been derailed for three years because of failed drug tests, missed alcohol education classes, stints in rehab and three brief spells in jail.
