Duchess Of Cornwall’s Private Portrait

By Staff

Duchess of Cornwal
The Royal Society of Portrait Painters is putting a private portrait of the Duchess of Cornwall at an auction. The society has recently obtained the painting from Prince Charles. The painting depicts a smiling Camilla, glowing in smooth skin.

The portrait used to grace the walls of Clarence House. Artist Susan Crawford painted this informal image in 2008. She is an expert in painting horses and human portraits.

The portrait bring out the informal side of Duchess of Cornwall's character, her adaptability and above all her sense of humour. She inherited many of these qualities from her father, Bruce Shand. Susan Crawford is familiar with the Duchess of Cornwall for long years.

There's a charm in this portrait, also humanity and a sense of humour. It's a striking image.
