New Delh : Mitsubishi Motors and Hindustan Motors Limited have unveiled four products at the current Auto Expo. The products were unveiled by Mr. Ravi Santhanam, MD, Hindustan Motors Limited and Mr. Katsuya Maeda, GM, Product Planning Dep't., Mitsubishi Motors Corp., Japan.

i-MiEV: is Mitsubishi's vision for future in urban commuting. For the first time an electric vehicle can be charged (up to 80%) in 30 minutes flat using a special charging system, as well as charged overnight using household electricity outlet. This electric vehicle balances environmental and driving performances at high level. All in all i-MIEV represents the way forward for a Eco friendly urban commuting car.

LANCER Evolution: The legendary Lancer Evolution is the King of rally championships and is an enormously successful series worldwide. It is a real delight with motor sport enthusiasts. The all new Lancer Evolution is being displayed to gauge Indian customer reaction which will enable a speedy decision on its launch plans for India.

OUTLANDER: The all new Outlander SUV will shortly be made in India close on the heels of Mitsubishi's decision to manufacture this in Europe. It is an extraordinary Urban Recreation Vehicle. The Outlander equipped with high-performance 2.4L MIVEC engine that is also economical and clean in terms of exhaust emissions. The engine is mated to a 6-speed CVT with paddle shifting that delivers both excellent acceleration and high-speed cruising performance. Its advanced drivetrain features an electronically controlled 4WD that is based on Mitsubishi's AWC (All Wheel Control) philosophy, for exhilaration far beyond that afforded by conventional SUVs.
