Dalai Lama visits K'taka

Madikeri, Karnataka, Jan 8 (UNI) Spiritual leader the Dalai Lama today visited the Bylakuppe rehabilitation centre on a six-day visit to the Tibetan settlement in Kodagu district of Karnataka.
The Dalai Lama arrived from the Gurupur centre in Hunsur this morning and delivered spiritual discourses.
He will stay in Bylakuppe till January 13, before returning to Dharmashala in Himachal Pradesh.
About 500 police personnel from Chamarajanagar, Mysore and Kodagu districts have been stationed in Bylakuppe for his security.
