Bhoomika's Prompt Marriage With Bharat

Actress Bhoomika Chawla married her lover Bharat Thakur on the auspicious Vijayadasami day (21/10/07) at Nasik, just three days before their announced marriage date. Only her parents, close relatives and few of her friends had attended the marriage.

The Mumbai based Bhoomika had made her debut, opposite Srikanth in Rajakoottam in Tamil. Later she did films like Badri, Chillunnu Oru Kaadhal in Tamil and many films in Telugu and Hindi.

She was in love with Bharat Thakur, a yoga master from Nasik for the past 4 years. Salman Khan had introduced Bharat to Bhoomika and later the actress joined in Bharat's institute to learn yoga. But Bharat did not limit his lessons with yoga only! Soon both fell in deep love and decided to marry.

Last month the actress announced their love and Marriage proposal publicly and told that both would be married on October 25th in Mumbai. But suddenly they got married on Sunday at Devalali Camp, Nasik.

Bhoomika met the media after their marriage and told, "Actually we had planned to marry on Wednesday . But our parents wished to conduct the marriage on the auspicious day of Vijayadasami. That is the only reason for this pre-poned marriage. Bharat is a very good person and more than that a gentleman. He knows everything about me. He never objects my wishes and in fact he already told me to continue my career. So I hope this is the right time to enjoy and settle in the marriage life…"
