Asha Bhosale's autobiography
Mumbai, Apr 7 (UNI) Legendary singer Asha Bhosale is planning to write an autobiography.
''The book will contain my life story spanning over more than six decades,'' the 70-year-old veteran told reporters here.
''The preliminary draft is ready. I have written it completely in either Marathi or Hindi. My son has promised to translate it in English,''she said yesterday.
To a question on when her fans would get to read the book, Asha said ''Let me get a little more older.'' Asha, one of the well-known Mangeshkar sisters, was born on September 8, 1933. Daughter of versatile actor and singer Dinanath Mangeshkar, Asha, like her other sisters and brother was introduced to music at a very tender age.
Reputed to have sung over 20,000 songs in more than 14 languages, Asha's inimitable style of singing has no match in the film music scene.
