'Aryan' preview... or premiere?

The first major screening of ARYAN at a preview theatre in Bandra on Thursday night [June 29] was like a mini premiere. The private screening, hosted by Sohail Khan and ARYAN director Abhishak Kapoor, witnessed a galaxy of stars and celebrities attending the show.
Jeetendra was amongst the first to arrive [he's Abhishek's uncle], while Subhash Ghai and David Dhawan with wife Lali followed minutes later. Choreographer-director Ahmed Khan and brother Bobby Khan, actors Zayed Khan, Dino Morea, Ashmit Patel, Vivek Mushran, Dia Mirza, Kim Sharma, Aarti Chhabria, Samyukta and Keith, television actors Hiten Tejwani and Yash Tonk, Vrajesh Hirjee, directors Vicky Chopra and Puneet Sira, writer Vekeana and several others clapped and cheered throughout this select screening.
At a time when the biggest of makers are scared to show their films even to their best of friends, this gesture by Sohail and Abhishek Kapoor to screen ARYAN three weeks before its theatrical release needs to be lauded. Bravo!
