Air Deccan Offers Bookings Through Mobile Phones
Bid good bye to all the pain that you go through to book a single air ticket as its just a click away. India-based air carrier Deccan has launched a mobile booking initiative called m-Fly, which allows the passengers to book, pay and generate an e-ticket on their mobile phones instantly.
Deccan with its simplified method wishes to leverage 20% of Indian population with mobile phones as easy way to board an air travel. With mFly, Deccan passengers will be able to book tickets any time and from practically any location and reduce dependence on debit cards/credit cards and ticketing windows.
Deccan also announced its other sms-based initiatives for its passengers:
• SMS Alerts – to inform about the delayed flights.
• SMS Flight Status – Dynamic flight status at any point during the day or night
• SMS flight availability on a particular future date
• SMS flight availability and fares on a particular future date
How does it work?
Follow these simple steps to experience the simpler and easy go world of mFly
- Register on Deccan website or call Deccan call centre (prefix city code – 39008888).
- After registration the user will receive a 4 digit password as an SMS
- Once registered, passenger needs to recharge/Top Up amount at any of 35,000 Oxigen "Top up outlets" across India.
- Passenger checks flight availability and fare for a particular future date and then does the booking.
- After booking the ticket, passenger receives Ticket No (PNR) as an SMS confirming the booking and an email of the e ticket is also send to customer's id.
- On the day of travel passenger or the user can go and collect the e-ticket from Deccan counter in the Airport.
