Smaller breeds like most terriers, Dachshunds, Lhasa Apso, small Poodles, Miniature Schnauzer, Pug, Shih Tzu, Whippet, and others will need 25-30" long by 25-30" wide and a diameter of 25-30" nest beds.

Medium sized dogs will need a nest bed that is 30-35 inches in diameter.
Large dogs will need about 40-45" in diameter for a nest bed.
Extra large dogs will need a nest bed that is about 50" in diameter.

Orthopedic Dog Beds
These are special beds created for old dogs and dogs that suffer from arthritis and joint pains. They are designed with special features like medicated foam, waterproof or washable fabric and electric heating pads to relieve pain.

Dog Bed Mats
These are very inexpensive and are of great use in kennels. They are thinly foamed and covered with a washable or a waterproof fabric. They are also idle for travel.

Travel Dog Beds
These can be easily rolled up like sleeping bags to be carried in trains, airplanes and carriers. There are also other travel beds that feature a handle, carry bags and water proof fabric for outdoor use. Travel dog beds are also designed to fit in a bucket or bench seat for road travel
