However, the best way to keep your fish bowl fresh is by cleaning the bowl with certain ingredients. Boldsky shares with you tips on how to clean fish bowl and make it odour-free.
When you clean your fish bowl, you need to first transfer the fish from the bowl to another container. Make sure the fish is not in the bowl when you are cleaning it.
Cleaning the fish bowl only with soap water is helpful but you will still get the stale smell in the bowl after an hour or so. Using ingredients from your kitchen will help get rid of the smell.
Take a look at some of the most simple ways to clean your fish bowl and to omit the smell too:

Use Vinegar
Use vinegar to clean your fish bowl and to make it sparkle. All you need to do is make a solution of water and vinegar. Allow the solution to stay in the bowl for 15 minutes and then rinse well with clear water. Vinegar will help remove the odour from the bowl.

Use Baking Powder
A good way to make your fish bowl sparkle is to clean it with baking powder once in three months. Baking powder helps to remove algae stains which makes a ring mark in the bowl. But make sure to use baking powder in small quantity.

Try Lemon
Lemon is the best kitchen ingredient you can use to clean your fish bowl. Sprinkle your fish bowl with lemon juice and scrub the inside of the bowl with the peel of the lemon. Rinse well with clean water. The lemon will leave behind a lovely odour.

Use Salt
Salt is the safest way to clean your fish bowl. All you need to do is drop in a handful of rock salt and few drops of water in the bowl and use your hand to clean it. This will remove the stained areas in the bowl.

Using Soap
Soap is used by many who keep fish as pets. Although it makes your fish bowl look nice and sparkling, it does not remove the foul odour from the bowl.

Using Bleach
