How To Clean Your Home In 20 Minutes

By Super Admin

If asked which is the most horrible household activity, most of the people will nod in agreement with me that house cleaning is the most tiresome and least liked household activity. Dust filled room corners, sticky cobwebs, oily utensils, dirty sink... cleaning the house seems to be a never ending job. People prefer to restaurants, thinking of cleaning the plates and sinks after cooking or eating at home. Do not worry; house cleaning is no more a boring job as it was and will not eat up your off days. Experts say that a big house could be cleaned in 20 minutes. The basic 'mantra' is that you should plan well and go along with the plan.

Kitchen in 5 minutes
Always start with the sink. Keep it empty and shining. A sparkling sink becomes your kitchen's benchmark for hygiene and tidiness. Wash dishes and load in the counters immediately after the use, to save your cleaning time.

• Wipe down the sink (one minute).
• Clean the cooking range or stove (one minute).
• Clean the storage cabinets (one minute).
• Sweep, Swiffer, or vacuum the floor (two minutes).

Bathroom in 2 minutes

As sink in kitchen, clean the basins first. Get the most out of your moistened wipe by using it to clean around the edges of the tub and then the toilet before tossing it.

Clean the tub and basin (30 seconds).
Wipe the toilet seat and rim (30 seconds).
Swoosh the toilet bowl with a brush (30 seconds).
Wipe the mirror (15 seconds).
Spray the entire shower and the curtain liner with shower mist after every use (15 seconds).

Bedroom in 7 minutes

Make your bed right everyday, soon after you get up from be. This will help you to cut short the cleaning time. A neat bed will inspire you to deal with other messes immediately. Although smoothing sheets and plumping pillows might not seen like a high priority as you're rushing to work, the payoff comes at the end of the day, when you slip back under the unruffled covers.

Make the bed (two minutes).
Fold or hang clothing (four minutes).
Straighten out the night-table surface (one minute).

Family room and living room in 6 minuts

Start with the sofa. A clean and well arranged sofa will make your living room looking classy. Once you have fluffed the pillows and folded the throws, you are halfway home.

Pick up litters with a vacuum cleaner (one minute).
Fluff the cushions and fold throws after use (two minutes).
Wipe tabletops and cabinets (one minute).
Straighten books and magazines (two minutes.)

This quick cleaning chart is applicable only if you clean your house regularly. A weekly cleaning may take more time as more dust and dirt would be there on the floors and household items.
