Spade - This is an important gardening tool or equipment. A spade is used for digging loose soil and earth material. It is a must in the gardening box as no other task can be done without digging the soil. Therefore, every gardener should have a spade in handy. You will also need a shovel to scoop the loose earth after digging it.

Rake - A garden will have many plants and trees which will shed their leaves as part of its life cycle. It important to clean the garden and remove the dried leaves. For this purpose, this gardening equipment is needed. The rake helps to collect dried leaves from the ground. Water Bucket or Spray - Watering plants is a regular task in gardening. It needs simple gardening equipment to make the watering of plants easy. Plant Trimmer - For gardeners, it is necessary to cut the dried parts of plants, trim the unwanted parts and remove the dried leaves or infected portions of plants. Therefore, for this purpose a cutter or trimmer is very essential. The dried, dead and infected part has to removed for the growth of plants. Therefore, this is an important gardening equipment which should be available for every new gardener.

Garden Chemical Box - This is not exactly a gardening equipment but it is a must in a gardener's box. These are chemicals like pesticides, herbicides, manures and compost. These are essential for maintaining the quality of plants.
