Efficient Ways To Manure A Vegetable Garden
A lot of diseases are caused due to the pesticides that are sprayed on the plants. It is natural that we all think of creating a vegetable garden in our home. Every house should be self-sufficient. It should grow vegetables in the small space around the house. It is a well-known fact that bio-manure is best for the growth of vegetables. The manure adds nutrients and organic matter to the soil. In this article, we will discuss ways on how to manure a vegetable garden.
When vegetables are cultivated, there are few things that you should consider. The soil that the vegetables are grown in may not contain all the nutrients that the vegetables require. This makes it important to give the vegetables the adequate nutrients in the form of manure, animal manure being the best.

Unfortunately, animal manure contains bacteria such as e-coli and also roundworms and tapeworms. These tiny organisms can cause diseases in humans. This is passed to the humans through direct contact with the manure.
BEST SOIL MIX FOR CONTAINER GARDENING
It is quite simple to use this manure for growing vegetables by taking certain precautions. The following are some of the most effective ways on how to manure a vegetable garden.
No Fresh Manure
One of the gardening tips is that there is no necessity to use fresh manure on the vegetables. The fresh manure will be highly saturated with nitrogen and ammonia. This can burn the roots of the plants and can also inhibit the seed germination. If you still want to use fresh manure, the safest time is about 120 days before harvesting.

Composted Manure
One of the ways on how to manure a vegetable garden is to use composted manure. This reduces the risk of contaminating the cultivated fruits and vegetables. When the compost pile reaches 104F of temperature, it will reduce the risk further. Commercially produced manure will be found in the garden centre and can be checked if it is 100 percent pathogen free.
Types Of Fresh Manure
It is essential to know which animal manure should be used for the vegetables. Cat, dog and pig manure should be completely avoided. These manures should be avoided in the compost pile as well. This is because parasites in these types of manure can live longer and infect people. Chicken manure is the best for garden. This is one of the ways on how to manure a vegetable garden.

Soil Conditioner
Instead of using the animal manure as a fertiliser, the better option is to use this as a soil conditioner. For planting in spring, the manure can be added to the soil by fall. This will give the soil time to work with the manure, thereby enriching the soil with all the nutrients. This will help the growth of the vegetables.

Manure consistency
One of the ways on how to manure a vegetable garden is to ensure the consistency of the manure. Manure should consist of three basic elements: nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Nitrogen is used in building the living tissue, potassium helps in adapting the sugars and phosphorus helps in moving the energy throughout the plant.
