Teens are particular about their privacy, and love having everything set up in a single space. Their projects need them to work long hours in a said space. You will find that teens are stuck to a single space for a long time, and they hardly move out of that place. What bothers you as a parent is the fact that the space they are in should give out the right comfort, and make it easier for them to study and finish their projects on time.

There are various ways to design their study rooms. An integral part of their study room is the study table. It is on this table that they are going to design their futures. You need to ensure that the table is perfectly placed, set up with enough space and also check for placement of things.

Study Table Attached to Wall

The study table should be complete with drawers and cabinet. You can get this done if you can’t buy it off the shelf. Your study table should be able to equip the computer along with its accessories and should have enough writing space for the teen. You can have a nice and elegant pen stand on the table. Along with the pen stand, get a lamp for night reading. You could paint the wall with pastel colors and have a flower vase on the table. This minimal decoration would bring in colors to the room and comfort within the space.

You can have the essentials arranged on the study table, which include a PC, study materials, a printer in some cases and a pen stand. You can touch up the table with a feng shui paper weight. At the side of the table, you can have a small cabinet which includes your teen’s favorite things. On the wall, you can have a soft board which will include all the work he/she has done till now.

Complete with Bookshelf

If your teen is a regular reader, you can have a study table which is topped with a book shelf. On the table, along with the PC and pen stand, you can have a globe and a small show piece which will make the table look decent and comfortable. Keep some space to stack the books that the teen may need. Keep a small soft board, where your teen can stick his/her favorite projects. Make sure the chairs are comfortable.

Individual Tables
In case you have more than one teen, it is always a good idea to have individual tables that look similar. The tables can equip a cabinet on the top and below. You can have things they just love on top of the table. In some cases, teens love having their favorite CDs on the table. You could have a small space made for that. In the middle of the room, you can arrange for a small table that would help them do their projects or play for a while
