Kitchen Ingredients Which Help In First Aid
When first aid kits were not a part of daily life, many kitchen ingredients were used for first aid.
The role of first aid is to temporarily do something to save a person's life till he or she gets proper medical assistance. And that's why we maintain first aid boxes that contain bandage and some spirits.
But much before, when first aid kits were not a part of daily life, many kitchen ingredients were used for first aid. They work very well without showing any side effects.

Here are some such kitchen ingredients which really do a good job as first aid.

Garlic
Garlic is one of the most important kitchen ingredients. It is an antibiotic. You can use it as a first aid for insect bites and centipede bites.
In some rural places, a mixture of garlic juice and salt is applied on sprains, minor bruises and even ringworm. In fact, you can put a small piece of garlic in the ear to get rid of ear infection. Of course, this isn't a safe method as the garlic clove may get suck in the ear!

Baking Soda
Baking soda can also work as a first aid treatment for bee stings. Add some water to a teaspoon of baking soda and apply the paste on the area of the bee sting.
This will reduce inflammation as well as the pain. But don't forget to consult a doctor in case of a bee sting.

Aloe Vera
Even aloe vera works like a good first aid in case of cuts, burns on the skin and even sun burn. It soothes and also offers a cooling effect to the skin.

Honey
The healing properties of honey can come to help in case of wounds, scrapes and cuts. Honey contains anti-inflammatory properties and anti-bacterial agents which makes it a good first aid product.

Turmeric

Vinegar
