3. Constipation
When you are constipated, along with discomfort and gas in the stomach, you can also experience lower left abdominal pain, if the stool accumulation at that part is more.

4. IBS
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), is a condition in which the intestines get inflamed, causing both constipation and diarrhoea, at abnormal intervals. IBS can also cause lower abdominal pain, due to the inflammation.

5. Crohn’s Disease
One of the main symptoms of Crohn's disease is lower left abdominal pain. Crohn's disease is an inflammatory disease that affects the digestive tract lining.

6. Kidney Stones
When you are suffering from kidney stones, the infection in your kidneys may affect the lower left part of your abdomen and pelvis, causing a sharp pain.

7. Ectopic Pregnancy
Lower left pain in women, could also be caused by ectopic pregnancy, a condition in which the foetus grows inside the left fallopian tube, instead of the uterus!
