Can A Vegan Diet Lead To An Early Onset Of Hair Loss In Men?
If you want your crowning glory to remain intact for a longer time, then maybe the vegan diet isn’t your answer.
Have you noticed that as men grow older, along with the other signs of ageing, their hairlines tend to recede and baldness is seen?
If yes, then, it is a common occurrence in men, known as the androgenic alopecia, or male pattern baldness.
Now, it is a fact that just like a great smile, even our mane is supposed to be one of the best natural accessories to improvise our look!

Many of us spend a lot of time on grooming our hair to accentuate our looks and we do experiment with new hair styles, time and again.
A lot of us feel extremely worried even when we lose a few strands of hair, so imagine the plight of people who lose hair permanently!
It can be rather scary and depressing to experience baldness, especially if you are still young.
Male pattern baldness is a condition in which there is permanent hair loss seen in men, usually around the age of 40 and it may be seen earlier in some men.

Although pattern baldness can occur in older women too, it is more common in men.
In male pattern baldness, usually hair loss occurs at the top and front portion of the head first and gradually, all the hair is lost.
Typically, it takes at least 15 years after the onset of male pattern baldness for a person to lose hair completely; however, some men could lose all their hair in just about 5 years.
Male pattern baldness is not treatable; however, there are certain medications which could be given to slow down the hair loss rate.
Now, a recent research study has found that following a vegan diet could lead to an earlier onset of male pattern baldness; find out how, in this article.

How A Vegan Diet Could Cause Early Hair Loss In Men
There are many different trends that people follow across the globe when it comes to lifestyle, especially their diets.
A diet that a person follows depends on their beliefs about health, their health goals, their concern for animals, religious reasons, etc.
So, while majority of the people around the globe are meat consumers, there are also many vegetarians who do not consume meat, especially in countries like India.
Also, there is another new diet called the vegan diet, in which people do not consume any animal products, and it is becoming very popular lately.
The vegan diet is supposed to be very healthy for digestion, weight loss and overall health.
In fact, many nutritionists and even celebrities are now following the vegan diet.
However, just like other types of diet, even the goodness of the vegan diet is said to have certain cons.

According to a new research study conducted by an institute in the United States, a vegan diet does not contain enough iron and protein, as it has no animal products.
And in men especially, iron and protein are extremely important for hair growth, as testosterone in their body can also cause hair loss.
So, in conclusion, a vegan diet could result in the early onset of hair loss in men.
