Hence, to prevent these fatal problems a healthful routine and several precautions are needed. Getting diagnosed with health issues like these is a wake-up call that it is time to make important changes in your way of life. The initial step towards a healthful body is healthful living. In order for you to achieve that you should opt for a far healthy lifestyle.
Sitting for long hours in just one place is very bad for your health. This is a very bad habit and can result in a number of diseases like prostate, colon, breast and lung cancer. So, make it a habit to take frequent breaks during the day when at work and take a walk. Also, when at home, stop sitting in front of the TV for long hours and get up and do some household chores.
Some people have the bad habit of eating meat on a daily basis. Eating meat on a daily basis, especially meat that has been processed has been seen to cause cancer. Hence this habit should be got rid of at the earliest and vegetable sources of protein like beans and pulses should be included in your diet.
People who do not pay attention to the amount of sleep that they get or the quality of sleep that they get are sure to suffer from such diseases as high blood pressure, obesity, strokes, etc. This is a very bad habit and should be checked at the earliest.
If you are in the habit of cooking with the wrong type of oil, you can fall prey to a number of diseases. When cooking on high heat, always go for mustard oil and for low heat cooking and salads and dressings, go for olive oil.
