Parsley Leaves

Take ibuprofen and vitamin B6

Having gram lentils soup daily for a week or two before your period can delay your periods for almost a week. To make its soup, first grind them to make a powder and then boil this powder in water.

You can make a decoction of this herb by boiling it in water and then drink it as a tea two to three times a day. It helps to stop menstrual flow and eases cramps. Have this before your periods.

Female Ginseng Or Angelica Root
It is an old Chinese herb used to stop menstrual flow and is also used to keep female hormones well-balanced. You can have this herb one-two week before your periods.

Garden Sage Or Lady Mantle
Garden sage can stop menstruation naturally. Boil this herb in water and let the mixture boil for a few minutes. Cool the tea and drink it after adding honey.

Shepherd's Purse
It can be used to stop bleeding when garden sage fails to act. Boil this herb in water, cool it and drink the extract three times a day.

Increasing your physical activity two to three weeks before the expected periods can actually delay your periods. Weight loss can affect your hormones and body. This will lead to delayed periods.

Avoid Spicy Foods
Spicy food tends to increase the heat inside your body that can lead to menstrual flow. You must avoid all sorts of spicy foods if you want to delay your menstrual flow. Avoid hot peppers, black pepper, ginger, garlic etc.

This drug can delay periods. However, its actual use is to relieve the symptoms of painful menstruation. The pill contains progesterone and increased levels of progesterone causes body to misunderstand it as a state of pregnancy and therefore, your periods will get delayed.
