Water for weight loss is a research which is based on the basic features of water intake by the body. Our body has 70% water content and the function is not restricted to just hydrating, cleansing and carrying nutrients. There are other functions of water as well. Lets look at how water results in weight loss -
1.Metabolism – Water increases the metabolism rate in the body. Drinking water after every meal and to maintain the mark of eight glasses of water every day, keeps the metabolism going. Drinking cols water is also one of the ways to enhance metabolism. To turn the cold water into body temperate, body has to burn calories. Thus, leading to reducing weight. One of the traditional ways of reducing weight is to drink water with lime everyday in morning.
2.Digestion – One of the main reasons of fat accumulation, is indigestion. As food is left undigested, calories are not burnt and fat accumulation is more. Needless to say, undigested food lead to many other health troubles like acidity, gastric etc. Water assists digestion, ensures optimum utilization of nutrients and flushes out impurities.
3.Controls Hunger – Water has a great ability in controlling hunger. It controls hunger pangs. When you are hungry your brain does not differentiate between food or water. Enough amount of water in a day, can reduce your pangs of hunger. Thus, a beverage like juice, coffee, tea or wine, often replaces your hunger and thus controlling your appetite.
4.Enhances Energy – Water constant assistance during your exercise regime. During exercising we tend to sweat, which dehydrates us and thus, lowers our energy level. Taking a break and drinking water, helps you keep up the energy and thus, extends your exercise timings. The additional benefits that it further enhances your metabolism.
How To Go About Water Weight Loss Plan -
1.Consume water in form of herbal tea in the morning for health as well as to kick start your metabolism.
2.With your mid morning snacks, take a glass of juice, to sooth your digestive system.
3.Include tea or soup to your lunch, to control your diet, increase metabolism and digestive system. Include loads of vegetables with water content, this will also reduce your pang of hunger.
4.Include water with your evening snacks.
5.After dinner, drink a full glass of water and go off to sleep.
Weight loss with water is thus, possible. Water is another agent in your weight loss plan which makes that plan work better and faster. Water also provides you with a spotless skin.
