Apart from fun aspect, many people suffer from respiratory disorders and heart conditions during the three days. The aged are highly disturbed by undesirable noise and polluted air. Today we will discuss on the adverse effects of bursting crackers during Diwali festivals (deepavali). Take a look.
Adverse Effects Of Bursting Crackers On Health
1. Apart from the mild burns and accidents the children suffer, they also breathe the toxic air suffering from nasal irritation and throat congestion.
2. The smoke also irritates the eyes causing tears and redness. Sometimes the sound makes the ears go numb and also cause deafness.
3. Bursting crackers may increase blood pressure and aggravate heart disease. Nausea, headache and giddiness are common effects of bursting crackers.
4. Lung infections such as coughing, sneezing. Respiratory disorders like asthma, wheezing often get severe during Diwali festivals. The pollution hazards such as the toxic smoke causes a lot of discomfort in breathing.
5. The poisonous gas can also affect pregnant women adversely. It may also affect the mentally ill patients leading to depression, fear and stress.
