Bananas on the other hand are healthy fruit that can boost up body metabolism to keep you active and energetic all day long. Bananas are filling and also improves digestion. Broccoli with tomatoes: This is a healthy vegetable salad combo that is filling, tasty and nutritious too. You can have this salad for lunch or dinner. Milk and biscuits: It is often advised not to have milk empty stomach as the dairy product can lead to acidity. Always have milk with biscuits or fruits like apple. Apple and melted chocolate sauce: Yummy food combination right? Instead of adding cheese to your fruit salad, have apple with melted chocolate sauce. Apples are anti-inflammatory due to quercetin (flavonoid) that is highly concentrated in the skin of the fruit. Quercetin also reduces cancers like prostrate and lung cancer, skin allergies and heart diseases. Chocolate sauce have catechin (antioxidant flavonoid) prevents you from atherosclerosis and cancer . These flavonoids loosen blocked blood platelets and also reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases. You can also add raspberries as the juicy fruit is also rich in these flavonoids.
