When compared to other non-vegetarian foods like meat or eggs, seafood, especially fish and crabs, are rich in vitamins and minerals like iron, iodine, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium and calcium to name a few.
Fish: This is one healthy seafood that is low in calories and cholesterol. Fish is also rich in Omega 3 fatty acids. Thus having prawns and salmon is good for your body as they are healthy. Having fish 2-3 times a week can be beneficial for heart patients. Fish is also good to improve your complexion and eye sight. Thus, you can have fish to have a healthy body and beautiful skin.
These are few health benefits of seafood. Seafood is also good for pregnant women as they are rich in vitamins and Omega 3 fatty acids. But, make sure that you have limited amounts of seafood. This is because excessive consumption of seafood can be unhealthy as few seafood items are rich in saturated fats.
