Ease Your Finger Pain With Exercise

Exercises to treat finger joint pain:
1. If the pain is due to an injury, avoid giving pressure on the fingers. Don't lift heavy weights for few weeks. Let the fingers rest.
2. Slowly keep moving fingers to avoid numbness. Finger exercises such as little movements and simple stretching are good. This also improves blood flow.
3. Stop cracking the fingers, knuckles or thumb. This may provide relief for sometime but after an hour, the pain increases.
4. Working professionals keep typing on computer keyboards and this leads to pain in the fingers. Take out one minute to stretch the fingers and thumbs. Need not crack the bones. Simply stretch the fingers and pull them little to treat the finger joint pain.
5. Pounder the fingers together and rotate the wrist. This is an effective finger exercise to treat joint pain.
6. Crush the fingers together at intervals. In this, you have to pounder all the nails and close with the thumb.
7. Dip the fingers in hot water which can be suitable to the skin. Hot water provides instant relief from the pain in the finger joints and also increases blood flow.
8. Twist the fingers and wrist gently. Take it backwards and bend in front. Be gentle while doing this exercise. You can do this anytime of the day to cure finger joint pain.
9. If the pain makes it difficult to straighten the fingers or bend them, consult a doctor. This can be a symptom of osteoporosis.
Try these exercises to treat finger joint pain. Sometimes pain in the fingers can be felt if you sleep in a wrong position which bends the bone for a long duration. It is best to leave the fingers and let it cure normally.
