Delhi Pollution At All Time High: Follow These Habits To Protect Your Lungs
Delhi's air pollution is an issue that has been prevalent for years - making the city known in global charts - but not in a positive way, alas. While the city has seen over 200 days of some good air quality this year, the issue of air pollution in Delhi is still massive.
The Delhi government has pinpointed 13 major pollution hotspots across the city, including areas like Narela, Bawana, Mundka, Wazirpur, and more. Knowing where the problem is most severe can help you plan your outings and minimise exposure.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the government has taken proactive measures to combat Delhi pollution. These include initiatives to reduce vehicle emissions, promote cleaner energy sources, and improve public transportation.
However, despite these commendable efforts, Delhi is still far from breathing clean air. So, here are some tips to protect your lungs from air pollution.

Protect Your Lungs With These Simple Steps
- Use masks: Invest in high-quality masks, like N95 or N99, to filter out harmful particulate matter when venturing outdoors. These masks act as a shield for your lungs.
- Air purifiers: Consider using air purifiers in your home, especially in bedrooms, to ensure that the air you breathe indoors is as clean as possible.
- Limit outdoor activities: On days when the air quality is severely compromised, reduce your outdoor activities, and avoid strenuous exercise that leads to deeper inhalation.
- Indoor plants: Certain indoor plants, such as spider plants and aloe vera, can help improve indoor air quality by naturally purifying the air.

On A Final Note...
Delhi's struggle against air pollution is an ongoing battle. While the government takes steps to address the problem, as citizens, we must play our part in protecting our health.
