Lakme Fashion Week 2016: What To Expect This Season In Fashion!

Yesterday the most popular fashion week of the country gave us a little sneak peek to their newest collection. During the conference, the panel guests revealed to us of what can be expected from the collection this week.

Well, for the starters, you can expect a lot of pastel colours, majorly dominated by peach.

Purnima of the Lakme Fashion Week disclosed that this time the collection would be cheered with shimmer. A lot of shimmer with a combination of pastels.

Moving on... Saket Dhakar, IMG Reliance, spoke a few things on the coming fashion week. This time, the collection is majorly focused on two trends. First, the convergence of fashion and technology. Second, sustainability of fashion.

To celebrate the 16th year of biggest fashion weeks in the country, the fashion veterans are majorly focusing on fashion sustainability and go green initiative.

This time, 20 new designers would be making their debut. Apart from that, you'll get to see collections by Anita Dongre, Rohit Bal, Neeta Lulla, Payal Singhal, Masaba, etc.
