|
Best-dressed Bollywood celebs

The Mumbai Academy of Moving Images (MAMI) Festival witnessed the prominent faces from the film industry. From Anil Kapoor to Jacqueline Fernandez, the festival had the best from the film fraternity. This year, the festival had 64 films presented from around 43 countries. The B-town divas graced the event in stunning outfits. However, while some looked awesome, some didn't at all. Let's find out, who looked awesome and average.

Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez once again donned a red-hot attire for the event. She wore a humble pantsuit that was designed by Alena Akhmadullina. Her blazer was quarter-sleeved and structured and her pants were flared. She paired her attire with nude Louboutin pumps and accessorised her look with minimal accessories. Her makeup was accentuated by highlighted cheekbones and the curly side-swept tresses rounded off her look.

Our Verdict: Average.

Yami Gautam

Yami Gautam

Yami Gautam has been wowing us at the ramp shows and this time on the red carpet, she wooed us yet again. The actress wore a one-shouldered Atsu dress for the event that featured a bouffant sleeve and was enhanced by an overlapping detail. Her dress was figure-hugging and she paired it with red pumps. Her makeup was accentuated by a pink lip shade and her signature tresses rounded off her look.

Our Verdict: Awesome

Fatima Sana Shaikh

Fatima Sana Shaikh

Fatima Sana Shaikh attended the MAMI Film Festival in a ravishing Monisha Jaising number. She wore a sleeveless, metallic number that was structural and featured a sharp side slit. It was one of the boldest outfits that Fatima has donned recently. She paired it with a pair of black pencil heels. Her makeup was marked by a light pink lip shade and kohl. The wavy tresses gave her look a wild touch. She looked great but we thought it was more of a party number than a film festival dress.

Our Verdict: Awesome

Kalki Koechlin

Kalki Koechlin

Kalki Koechlin gives us one of the most experimental looks in the industry today. The prolific actress wore a reinvented sari by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Her sari was glamorous yet earthy. It was a dazzling number with asymmetrical yet sharp cuts. Kalki's sari was accentuated by Scottish checks. This was a hand embroidered number and Kalki looked fabulous. Her gold danglers came from Zoya. Her makeup was marked by wine-red lip shade and a winged eyeliner.

Our Verdict: Awesome

Soha Ali Khan

Soha Ali Khan

Soha Ali Khan made a safe choice but looked beautiful in her attire. Her ensemble was by Payal Singhal. She wore a collared quarter-sleeved beige-golden shirt and paired it with a pencil skirt that was accentuated by vibrant floral patterns and featured a subtle side slit. She wore beige-hued pencil heels and accessorised her look with elaborate neckpiece and complementing earrings. Her makeup was subtle and the side-swept wavy tresses completed her look.

Our Verdict: Average

Radhika Apte

Radhika Apte

Radhika Apte's career is in a full bloom and she articulated it by sporting a floral sari for the occasion. The gorgeous diva wore a minty and pink sari for the event and looked chic. She was a traditional perfection in her sari, which came alive with pink roses. Radhika teamed her sari with a sleeveless blouse and accessorised her look with jhumkis. She wore a wine-red lip shade and her middle-parted impeccable bun completed her look.

Our Verdict: Awesome

Tabu

Tabu

Tabu surprised us in a western wear for the event that celebrates all-things films. She wore a shiny olive green dress that was V-necked and was sharply asymmetrical. It was an interesting piece, which came with a drape that was tied on the front of her dress. Tabu paired her outfit with stunning pencil heels. Her makeup was beautifully done and she allowed curly tresses to cascade on the front of her shoulders.

Our Verdict: Awesome

Dia Mirza

Dia Mirza

Dia Mirza wore an attire by Abraham & Thakore for the event. She paired her jacket with a skirt. Her jacket was quarter-sleeved, beautifully embellished, and came with a grey ribbon. She paired it with a golden metallic skirt that was flared and black-hued sandals. Her makeup was highlighted by pink touches and her middle-parted ponytail was impeccable. She wore drop earrings to round off her look. So, while, we loved her jacket and skirt, we didn't like this teaming.

Our Verdict: Average

Kiran Rao

Kiran Rao

Kiran Rao wore something fusion for the festival. The lady has individualistic style sense and this time she wowed us in a navy blue number, which was beautifully draped. Her sleeveless ensemble seemed like a sari and she paired it with a pair of flats. Kiran's makeup was on the brighter side with a vibrant lip shade and she wore quirky earrings to spruce up her look.

Our Verdict: Awesome

Diana Penty

Diana Penty

Diana Penty wore an interesting number by Qbik. It was a traditional attire with modern sensibilities and Diana looked more than just impressive in it. She wore a sari with a bra-top like blouse. It was a textured sari, which was smartly draped and tucked inside a vibrantly done kamarbandh. We loved the strings on her sari, which came attached with red-hued additions. Diana accessorised her look with elaborate earrings. Her makeup was marked by a smoky kohl and a bindi, and the middle-parted hairdo rounded off her look.

Our Verdict: Awesome.
