India will host the highly anticipated 71st Miss World pageant from February 18 - March 9 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The esteemed international beauty pageant is coming back to the country after nearly thirty years away.

The pageant stands as one of the most prestigious beauty pageants globally, capturing the attention of millions with its dazzling display of beauty, talent, and intelligence!

Here's a list of participants from the top 10 Asian nations who will be representing their respective countries and making everyone proud.

Shammi Islam Nila - Bangladesh

The Miss World Bangladesh winner Shammi Islam Nila is a 21-year-old brand ambassador and digital influencer. The talented ones edged out the other 9 finalists after the ceremony broadcasted by the Asian Television Network.

Wenanita Angang- Malaysia

Wenanita Angang is a data analyst based in Kuala Lumpur. She has excellent time management skills to balance both her pageantry duties and her day job. A strong believer in social change-making, Wenanita believes in advocating awareness, acceptance, and inclusion of the Malaysian autistic community. The diva is particularly enthusiastic about hippotherapy for autistic children.

Priyanka Rani Joshi - Nepal

Priyanka Rani Joshi studied Journalism and Mass Communication and has worked as a TV Presenter, Model and Writer. She is currently supporting her family business and would like to become a humanitarian Ambassador for the United Nations. Priyanka dabbles in many hobbies including, driving sports, skating, writing and film production.

Oh Wei Qi - Singapore

Oh Wei Qi has a master's degree in design management. She owns her own Swimwear Brand and also works as an Art Teacher since 2018. With a background in Fashion Design and Media, she has ambitions to complete a Doctorate, build an Art Education Centre and expand her Fashion Brand. Her passion is drawing, painting, fashion design and sewing.

Kavindi Nethmini - Sri Lanka

Kavindi Nethmini works as a Research Writer and Business Analyst after having completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. She enjoys gymnastics and aerobics performances and traditional Kandyan dancing and takes drumming lessons. Kavindi also held the position of Leader of the School Senior Eastern Musical Band. She has also worked as a freelance model.

Lijin Kim - South Korea

Lijin is a Model and a Pilates Instructor after completing a Degree in Airline Cabin Service Management. Sports has been the biggest impact on her life. She aspires to be the CEO of a Global Sports Agency to create a supportive environment for the young generation to enjoy sports. Lijin Kim enjoys Yoga, Pilates and K-pop dancing.

Tharina Botes - Thailand

Tharina is currently studying for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce and Marketing and she also runs her Clothing Brand that helps to empower women. Her dream job would be to have her TV Show and be the next Oprah Winfrey.

She enjoys traditional Thai dancing, playing tennis, painting, and freediving and can even hold her breath for 2 minutes and 39 seconds underwater.

Ke Xu Xin - China

Miss China World Ke Xu Xin will be representing to Miss World Pageant. A graduate professional, she engages in a variety of hobbies reflecting her diverse interests. Ke Xu Xin actively participates in philanthropy and influences their impactful work as ambassadors for various causes.

Sini Shetty - India

Sini Shetty has a graduation degree in accounting and finance. It is reported that the Miss India 2022 winner is pursuing a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst). Sini Shetty has also worked at a marketing firm.

Apart from her academics, Sini Shetty pursues Indian traditional dance form. Sini Shetty was just 14 years old when she completed Arangetram in Bharatanatyam.

Audrey Vanessa - Indonesia

Audrey has completed a First Degree in Commerce and a Master's Degree in Banking and Finance. She is currently working as a TV host, Motivational Speaker, Entrepreneur, Model and Song Writer.

Her interests are golf, diving, basketball and playing instruments such as the piano, violin and traditional Indonesian instruments!
