Green Treat: Ajwain Tambuli Recipe
Ajwain Tambuli is one of the best recipes you can have this afternoon for lunch. In most Indian houses, these leaves are used to treat a severe cough and cold. Boldsky shares with you a simple tambuli recipe you can prepare today.
It is simple and does not take up too much of your time either. To prepare ajwain tambuli recipe, you need to use fresh and thin ajwain leaves. On the other hand, the ingredients that is used for this yummy vegetarian recipe only adds to the flavour of this green treat. Here is how you prepare this yummy afternoon delight, ajwain tambuli recipe.

Serves: 3
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients
- Jeera Seeds- 1 tsp
- Mustard Seeds - 1sp
- Oil - 2tbsp
- Tamarind- 3 pieces (optional)
- Coconut- 3 to 4 pieces (chopped)
- Curry Leaves- handful
- Green Chillies - 3 (sliced)
- Salt- to taste
- Curd- ½ cup
- Water- 1 cup
- Ajwain Leaves- 1 bowl

Procedure
- In a round bottom pan, add a little oil. Wait for the oil to get hot. Now add in the jeera seeds to the hot oil and allow it to splutter.
- When done, add in the ajwain leaves. Fry it well. Now add in the half chopped green chillies to the pan and fry it well with the ajwain leaves.
- To this dish, add the tamarind pieces ( the tamarind is optional)
- Now add in the chopped pieces of coconut to the dish and fry it well with the rest of the ingredients that is present in the pan.
- Grind the ingredients in a mixer. To one spoon of the mixture, add two tablespoon of curd. Add a little water to the mixture and mix it well using a spoon.

For Seasoning
- In a pan add a little oil. When hot, add in the mustard seeds and wait for it to splutter.
- Add curry leaves to the pan and fry.
- Add this seasoning to the ready ajwain tambuli gravy.
