Hakka Rice Noodles: Chinese Recipe
The silky texture of rice noodles makes you try it once. Rice noodles not only look soft, but has a lot of health benefits too! Noodles made with all purpose flour can cause stomach problems like bloating, constipation, indigestion to name a few. Rice noodles on the other side is made with rice flour. It is easy to digest, no to heavy on the stomach and rich in fiber too. Thus, rice noodles breaks down easily and gets out of the system.
Rice noodles is a healthy alternative to white rice and pasta. So, we decided to share a recipe with you. The hakka rice noodles is one of the easy to prepare delicious Chinese recipes. All you need is the right ingredients. Check out the Hakka rice noodles recipe.

Serves: 3
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- Rice noodles- ½ packet (boiled)
- Carrot- 1 (sliced)
- Onion- 2 (sliced)
- Capsicum- ½ cup (sliced)
- Garlic- 4-5 pods (minced)
- Green chillies- 3-4 (slit)
- Soy sauce- 1tbsp
- Green chilli sauce- 1tsp
- Corn flour- 1tsp
- Water- 2tbsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- 1tbsp
Procedure
- Dissolve the corn flour in water and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan. Saute the onions for a minute on a medium flame.
- Add carrot, capsicum, garlic and green chillies. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame.
- Now add salt, soy and green chilli sauce. Mix well and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Pour the dissolved corn flour and ½ cup water. Bring it to boil.
- When the water is evaporated, add the boiled rice noodles and mix well.
Hakka rice noodles is ready to eat. Serve this Chinese dish hot with manchurian or gravy.
