Stuffed Corn Paratha For Breakfast
When it comes to a tasty and healthy breakfast option, there is no better choice than stuffed paratha. You may have heard of a number of stuffed parathas like alu paratha, gobi paratha, mooli paratha etc, Ever heard of stuffed corn paratha? If not, then read on for the delicious breakfast recipe.
Stuffed corn paratha is a tasty and a filling option for breakfast. Boiled sweet corn is a perfect option to start your day on a healthy note since it has a numerous health benefits. The recipe for stuffed corn paratha is extremely simple and quick. You can also make it for the lunch box of kids.

Here goes the recipe for stuffed corn paratha. Give it a try.
Serves: 3-4
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Whole wheat flour- 2 cups
- Salt- as per taste
- Water- 1 cup
For stuffing
- Sweet corn kernels- 1 cup (boiled and mashed)
- Onion- 1 (chopped)
- Green chillies- 2
- Boiled potato- 1 (mashed)
- Cumin powder- 1tsp
- Lemon juice- 1tbsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- 2tbsp
Procedure
1. Sieve the flour and add salt. Knead it with water into a semi-soft dough. Keep it aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add onions. Fry for about 5 minutes on medium flame.
3. Add mashed potatoes and sweet corn and fry for another 4-5 minutes.
4. Then add green chillies, cumin powder, salt and lemon juice. Mix well and cook for about 7-8 minutes on low flame.
5. Once done, switch off the flame and allow the stuffing to cool down completely.
6. Divide the kneaded dough into 7-8 equal parts.
7. Roll out each ball of dough into small chapatis.
8. Place about one tablespoon of the stuffing in the centre. Cover and seal the chapati from each side completely.
9. Roll out the stuffed balls into a size of a regular chapati.
10. Heat a tawa and fry the stuffed parathas till they are cooked on both sides.
11. Transfer to a plate and follow the same method to make rest of the parathas.
Tasty stuffed corn parathas are ready to be served. Enjoy with curry or raita.
