But preparing masala dosas or plain dosas everyday may get boring so today we will share with you a different dosa recipe called the Banarasi Dosa. Take a look.
Banarasi Dosa Recipe – A Dosa With A Difference!
Ingredients:
- Dosa Batter (soaked rice, urad dal, pressed rice mixture (upto 7 hours) finely ground into batter)
- Salt according to taste
- Slices of bread
- Oil for frying
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ' cup curry leaves
How To Make Banarasi Dosa?
1. Make small pieces of the bread slices.
2. In a pan, fry cumin seeds with curry leaves, add the bread slices and fry them until golden brown.
3. Sprinkle chili powder and salt over the mixture. Leave it aside.
4. Spread the dosa batter on the hot tava. Sprinkle the bread mixture and onion over the dosa.
5. Cook the dosas on both sides. Tasty banarasi dosas are ready to eat.
Enjoy the delicious banarasi dosas with spicy chutneys.
