Bajra Aloo Ki Roti For Breakfast
Starting the day with a nutritious breakfast is crucial. Bajra aloo ki roti is such a breakfast recipe which is tasty and healthy at the same time. It is a perfect dish to start your day with. This delicious breakfast recipe hails from Gujarat. The roti is lightly crushed with hand and then eaten with milk.
Bajra aloo ki roti is prepared with the millet flour which is combined with boiled and mashed potatoes and a light mix of spices to kick up the flavour. Adding the coconut adds a completely soothing taste to this breakfast recipe.

So, try out bajra aloo ki roti and enjoy a tasty and nutritious breakast.
Serves: 3-4
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Bajra flour- 2 cups
- Potatoes- 2 (boiled and mashed)
- Onion- 1 (finely chopped)
- Coconut- ½ cup (grated)
- Green chillies- 2 (finely chopped)
- Dry mango powder- 1tsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- 2tbsp
- Water- 1 cup
Procedure
1. Combine all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl
2. Knead a soft dough with water
3. Divide the dough into 6 equal parts
4. Roll out round chapatis out of each part
5. Heat a tawa and place the chapati on it
6. Cook the chapati on each side on medium flame till it turns golden brown
7. Brush a little oil on both sides
8. Once done, transfer the chapati to a plate
9. Repeat the same procedure with rest of the dough
Bajra aloo ki roti can be relished with yogurt or pickle. Have a healthy breakfast this morning.
