Tutti-Frutti: Indian Cake Recipe

Tutti-frutti cake recipe:
Ingredients
2 cups flour/maida
1/2 cup tutti frutti
2 tsps baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup soft white butter
1 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup low fat milk
2 tsps pineapple essence or vanilla essence
Directions to make tutti-frutti cake recipe
1.Preheat the oven to 175 degrees and grease the pan with butter and flour.
2.Sieve maida, baking powder and soda and keep it aside.
3.In a bowl, mix sugar and butter until smooth and creamy. Add one egg at a time while mixing and when well mixed add pineapple essence to it.
4.Now add flour and milk three times and mix properly to make a smooth paste.
5.Coat the tutti-frutti with flour and add in to the batter. Fold them in the batter gently.
6.Pour the batter in the greased pan and bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or till the cake comes out clean with the help of a toothpick.
7.Place it on a wire track and let it cool for 15 minutes. Remove the cake from the pan and slice it.
Tutti-fruity cake is ready to eat.
