Potato Wafers: A Crispy Snack
Potato wafers are a crispy snacks recipe to munch on. If you want a potato recipe that tinkle your tongue and be cooked in a healthy way at home, then this is it. To try this. This Indian recipe can be churned out with minimum effort from your own kitchen. If you are calorie conscious then this fried snacks is not for you.
Ingredients For Potato Wafers:
1Kg Large Potatoes
Salt, Pepper, Chili Powder to taste
Oil for frying
A pinch of Cooking Soda
Method For Potato Wafers:
Peel the potatoes and cut into thin circles for this potato recipe. Wash with water and let them stand for sometime in salted water, to which a pinch of cooking soda has been added.
Drain. Remove and dry the potatoes using a dry cloth. Heat Oil in a frying pan and fry the Potatoes to a golden color.
Remove with a slotted spoon and spread on a sheet of paper.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and chili powder on the potato wafers.
