Cheese Mushroom Pakoda: Evening Snack
It is that time of the day to make one of the favourite dishes for children, mushrooms! The white button mushroom is a well known dish among children and adults too. White button mushrooms have a lot of nutrients and proteins which is good for one's health.
Preparing a mushroom dish is easy only if you know the exact time to cook this soft vegetable in. Over cooking mushrooms will spoil its taste.

This mushroom cheese pakodas is one such snack recipe which will leave you wanting for more. Try this mushroom cheese pakoda recipe this evening and have it along with any sauce of your choice.
Serves - 3
Preparation time - 30 minutes
Cooking time - 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Cheese - 1/3 cup (grated)
- Mushrooms - 15 (chopped)
- Green Chillies - 4 (finely chopped)
- Garlic - 4 (crushed)
- Flour - 1/3 cup
- Cornflour - 2 tbsp
- Baking soda - ½ tbsp
- Bread crumbs - 1 cup
- black pepper - ½ tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Procedure
- In a bowl, gently make a mixture with the grated cheese, garlic, salt, pepper and chillies.
- Take another bowl and mix the flour, cornflour, baking soda and oil. Mix all these ingredients together with a little water to form a paste.
- Now remove the stems from the mushrooms and fill in the cheese mixture.
- Now dip the stuffed mushroom in the paste.
- Coat the dipped mushrooms in breadcrumbs and deep fry till it turns golden brown.
Your cheese mushroom pakodas are now read to eat. It tastes best when served hot.
