Prawns In Green Chilli Curry
Are you bored of having the same old prawn curries? Most Indian prawn recipes turn out to be red or yellow curries. If you use tomatoes and red chillies you have a red prawn curry; if you use coconut and turmeric you get a yellow one. But green chilli prawn is a recipe in its own league. This curry is green in colour and that is not very commonly seen in the Indian cuisine.
The green colour of this curry is due to many reasons. Green chilli prawns uses no red chilli powder or tomatoes. Instead plenty of green chillies are used in this prawn curry to make it spicy. Apart from that, green chilli prawns also contain pudhina and coriander chutney. These herbs contribute to the colour of green chilli prawns.
